IFBB Sheru Classic Latin America/Colombia Pro 2018 Results

The IFBB Sheru Classic Latin America/Colombia Pro show was held on February 17-18, 2018 in Medellin, Colombia with two IFBB Pro League Classes represented including Men’s Physique & Bikini. The number two men’s physique pro in the IFBB Pro League Andre Ferguson of the USA took the top spot in this event just two weeks out from the Arnold Classic Columbus adding to his record as the winiest physique pro in the league. Fernando Chala Blandon of Colombia made his country proud taking the second spot behind luckylibra. Raymond Edmonds, team ventura teammate of Andre took the third spot. Both those gentlemen were already qualified for the 2018 Olympia.
Logan Franklin dissatisfied with his forth place finish thanked his fans on IG as he prepares for the Arnold Classic.
Jacques Dalce took 5th and traveling with his wife spoke highly of Colombia and the experience.
Gaston Bitterman of Argentina took 6th. Geobanny Paula took 7th and with being Cuban-Colombian noted he had a special experience in Medellin as his father saw him compete for the first time. Geobanny is also a seasoned NPC & IFBB contest promoter and is looking into hosting an IFBB Pro League Qualifier in Cali Colombia in 2019. Alejandro Castro took the 8th spot. Franklin Valverde was pleased with his pro debut and rounded out the placings for IFBB Pro men’s Physique.
In Pro Bikini
Romina Basualdo “Bass” for short of Argentina took the top placing and was a favorite going into the competition being prequalified for the 2018 Olympia. Elisa Pecini of Brazil took second earning additional points in the Olympia Qualification Series as she was one of the leaders with Kerryne Henich who took second at last weeks Legends Pro in Vegas.
Kim Gutierrez of Brazil took the 3rd spot.
Eli Fernandez of Mexico who likewise competed last week at the Legends in Vegas took the 4th spot.
Rachel Gonzalez a late entry to the competitor list took 5th. Jessica Renee of Miami Beach took the 6th place.
Margaret Gnarr of Iceland who is prequalified for the 2018 Olympia took seventh. Francesca Lauren of the USA took 8th
Karelin Marte turned pro at 2017 NPC National Championships and placed 9th.

 

Sheru Aangrish made history in Colombia having the first brand in the IFBB Pro League to have events on three continents. Shannon Dey emceed the event working with Sheru around the globe over many years.
